fortune cookies

For the exhibition Opposing Futures at The Projects Contemporary Art Space, I created a participatory installation piece involving Fortune Cookies, which were available for people to take and contained messages, or wisdom quotes, by leading figures from around the world who bring both extreme perceptions of the future to a middle point of balance and wisdom that emphasizes our own personal power and ability to create our future. These messages intend to inspire visitors, and hopefully spark their curiosity to find out more about the authors, their projects, their ideas, and maybe even start a conversation.
